Xilinx Announces Programmable World 2002 With IBM, Wind River, And A Dozen Other Industry Leaders

Industry-First Forum To Simultaneously Train 8,000 Engineers In 17 Worldwide Locations On The Technologies Revolutionizing Electronic Systems Design

SAN JOSE, CA--(INTERNET WIRE)--Feb 25, 2002 -- Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ:XLNX) today announced Programmable World 2002, a collaborative industry event with IBM, Wind River Systems, and a dozen other industry leaders. At this event, engineers will receive in-depth technical training on the multi-faceted technologies revolutionizing electronic systems design. Scheduled for April 17, 2002, the event will be held simultaneously in Austin, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Long Island, Ottawa, Paris, Phoenix, Portland, Raleigh, San Diego, San Jose, Seattle Thousand Oaks, and Toronto. Over 8,000 system architects and design engineers are expected to participate in this free of charge event.
